It was an unpredictable race weekend as ever in Silverstone, with not only the usual unsettled weather conditions that had swept through the Formula 1 Paddock, but also both Kimi and Seb suffering late tyre punctures late on in the race. The late drama resulted in Kimi holding on to third place and Seb recovering to finish seventh in the British GP.
Scuderia Ferrari came to Silverstone in high hopes of scoring more valuable championship points and a certain double podium until drama struck in the closing stages of the British GP.
The Silverstone Circuit known as the ‘Home of British Motorsport’ boasts some of the most challenging high-speed corners in Formula 1. Each lap measures 5.891km in length and poses one of the biggest car set-up challenges, due to the reoccurring crosswinds. None-the-less Scuderia Ferrari will continue the fight in Round 10 and hope for more ‘Rosso’ glory on the podium.

There are now just four weeks to go to the highlight of the Blancpain GT Series and Intercontinental GT Challenge, the Total Spa 24 Hour race.
