On January 30, 2013 Kaspersky Lab announced the commercial release of Kaspersky Security Center 10 (version 10.0.3361). 

New features

System Administration functionality

  • The functionality of the OS image capturing and installation has been added.
  • Centralized remote installation of third-party applications has been implemented.
  • Centralized remote installation of the OS and application updates has been implemented.
  • Windows Server Update Services functionality has been included in the Administration Server.
  • The license control functionality has been added; the applications registry functionality has been expanded.
  • The hardware registry functionality has been added.
  • Network Access Control functionality has been added.
  • Shared access to the client computer desktop is now supported; the functionality of the remote desktop has been expanded.

Mobile Devices Management functionality

  • Exchange ActiveSync mobile devices server has been implemented.
  • iOS MDM mobile devices server has been implemented.
  • Sending SMS messages to mobile device users is now supported.
  • Centralized installation of applications on managed mobile devices has been implemented.
  • Centralized installation of certificates on managed mobile devices has been implemented.

General functions of Administration Console

  • Support of data encryption management has been added for Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows.
  • The application control functionality has been expanded. The following features have been added: static analysis of application control rules; categories based on a set of executable files on reference computers; display of several categories for a single executable file.
  • Standalone packages can now be published on a web server integrated into the Administration Server.
  • Selection of update agents has been included in the set of selections created by default.
  • An information panel with the statuses of Update Agents has been added.
  • Filters are now available for centralized lists of Quarantine, Backup, and unprocessed files.
  • A centralized list of users has become available.
  • Selected subdivisions can now be excluded from search in Active Directory.
  • Negation can now be used when specifying search criteria for the sets of computers.
  • The task start interval is now defined automatically.
  • An existing blank SQL database can be specified as the Administration Server database in the installation Wizard.
  • Groups can be specified as search criteria for the sets of computers.
  • Types of objects (packages, updates, or both) can now be selected in the settings of the Update Agent.
  • Search of computers by user names or session names, and the reports on computer users have been added.
  • A graphic utility for Network Agent management has been added.
  • The nearest license expiration date on managed computers is displayed in the properties of the license key and in the keys report.
  • Information about the full volume of data saved in the Administration Server database, as well as the volume of events saved in the database, has been added.
  • The option of setting criteria using the OR operator has been added to the computers relocation rules.
