Professional is the key word here! Of all the listed contractors we interviewed--he is the only one who returned our call quickly--brought with him to our home, a photo album of previous work done as well as references--but more importantly he knew his stuff! We have contractors in the family and were prepared with information--he is the only one who knew what was needed--how to do it and as we had already priced materials was not only right on in the costs--he beat our estimates because of his professional relationships with suppliers. He knew the city codes and verified permit matters before even being hired. His bid was not the highest--it was not the lowest--but it was the most accurate and reasonable for the work being done. As to quality--A -absolute stickler for detail and doing things right. Both he and his staff were on time--communicative and a pleasure to work with. I say start with this company and save yourself the time of trying to find anyone who can beat them. They were awesome and the finished product has got nothing but rave reviews. We will be using them again for inside remodel work we will be doing.

Comment: I currently live in a rental property off of 6th avenue, the rear if the property is 6th avenue. It is a corner lot and a pretty large backyard. The landlord will allow me to make changes with their approval and a estimated cost as I will be paying for the project. During this last winter, their was an accident and a car came through the fence and into the deck. They did a quick repair, but I intend on continuing to rent this property and am allowed to make repairs and updates, again with rental property permission. Thank you for your time!!

Comment: We live in a garden level home, and the deck is on the upper level, the deck faces west so is subject to the afternoon sun. We also have issues with the wind so a canvas deck cover will not work. We would want a cover that we could put drop down screens at the front of the deck so that we could cut off the sun in the afternoon. We don't want something permanent as while the summer sun is too hot, we would like to take advantage of the winter sun.
