Comment: In December 2015 water entered our basement from below the basement floor, not through the walls. The basement is finished with plasterboard over wood framing. I saw swarming termites in the bedroom above the north north west corner, and then found two wet tunnels climbing the frame of an old doorway (now unused) that once led d from the basement into the coal cellar beneath the front porch. I went into the coal cellar from another still useable doorway and found multitudes of swarming termites trapped in spider webs. They were still writhing. Then I saw the two tunnels I saw were about 2 ft high. in the old covered over doorway.
