There are many reasons why you would want to change the slope of your lawn. The reasons could be cosmetic, or they could be practical. You may need to direct water away from the foundation of your home, or you may need to retain moisture where your lawns and gardens are. Whatever the reasons, there are a few factors that will affect the price of resloping your lawn

How much resloping is necessary?

The single largest factor in the cost of resloping your lawn is how much you need to change the direction of the current slope. If your lawn makes a steep downward turn in one direction and you need to have it slope dramatically in the other direction, that will require considerably more effort (and money) than if it just needs a slight resurfacing

Quality of the Soil

If your property site on compacted soil with a lot of rock then the efforts to reslope it will be a lot more work than if you are just digging up loose soil and redistributing it elsewhere on your property

Erosion Control

Any time that you dig up the ground and put it somewhere else you run the risk of having erosion issues. The goal is that the moved earth will stay where you moved it! If it slides or moves again you can have major erosion issues. One way to enable erosion control is to plant living rooting plants, this is a great way to keep the earth from running off with the first rainstorm. Another method is to install wooden or metal edging or bracing where you have moved the new soil. Either way, when resloping your lawn consider erosion control factors as part of the cost of the resurfacing.

I need to things now I have found out to build a shed 10 by 12 in my backyard in Baltimore Maryland requires a permit which is also an application fee some type of basic drawing three of them and I also need foundation made of concrete instead of gravel due to the fact that Baltimore City says You must have a solid concrete foundation and be 5 feet away from I have received estimates for sheds but I plan to have done to Grapple the ground but apparently that is not recommended by the engineering department to meet the requirements of the permit in Baltimore Maryland City. Anybody familiar with this? Can be able to pull the permit give the information and do the whole job and one price or around 2,700 dollars that's everything! You must be licensed and bonded have references pay half up front and half when the work is done. Please call me at 804-385-0916 again it is necessary to pull the permit give the specs for the designing of the shed which should be a simple Amish 1 that's 10 by 12 to Windows into double doors drip edge shingles again the foundation kit and wood floor has to be built on site due to the nearing as the backyard goes back so I fully built shed cannot be put on the backyard. Thank you for your help we are getting estimates but now I have found out the new information! If you're able please call at the number above thank you for your time! We are ready to begin fairly quickly especially with the foundation aspect due to the weather soon getting cool.

I see that you have stated to the dirt work people that I wanted minor grading! I have land of nearly 3 acres and there is nothing about this job that is  minor!  I did not request minor work done. It is a ranch not a tract home! This is not what you should have done to these business men!
