Xtrac Restoration, of Houston, Texas, has just finished a series of jobs for us-renewing a French drain and installing new gutters; removing old water damaged flooring and replacing it; and rebuilding built-in shelves and desk connecting the shelves. We cannot be more well pleased with the work Frank Lara's crews did. We are already planning more work for him to do. Frank is easy to work with, understands what you are talking about, and wants to please. After having checked with other contractors, I found that he was quite reasonable in his charges, all of which are fully explained in his bid.

Comment: The leak has affected ceiling drywall of exterior windowed wall. Think it was an upstairs tub that caused the leak, the leak has not expanded since its repair. Roof overhang was next concern, but we've had several inches of rain recently and moisture monitor shows 1.4%, which is considered dry according to monitor's manual. Area of damage is in two places, almost exactly the width of the bathtub apart. Visible damage on one leak is about one sqft and the other about one-half sqft.

Comment: Noticed stain on upper window frame inside our home and discovered "white mold" like substance growing in area (was behind a window shade). The white mold was similar in nature to a "mushroom" and was removed and treated with bleach. I have pictures of the white mold and the window frame and drywell damage that can forwarded along. Drywall of upper frame was damp when white mold was removed. Examined outside stucco and no crack or moisture was not evident from visual review. I have not filed an insurance claim depending on how much damage is assessed.
