So unfortunately I want to detail the poor experience I had with P and A Lawn Care Services. I originally contracted with them to provide bi-weekly lawn care cuts. I had no issues with the lawn cuts. I also want to establish that they have been polite for the duration of our contact but unfortunately due to the circumstances below I am still an unhappy former customer. I asked for a quote for a spring clean-up. I was quoted $250. I know the average hourly rate for a spring cleanup in this area is around $40 per hour and my backyard had gotten a little out of hand so I agreed to the quote. However, when the services were done (by a single worker) I was told the quote only covered the front and side yard which only took two hours of work to do. The fact that the backyard was not covered should have been made clear as that was my primary concern. I've never gotten a quote before that didn't include the entire area. Also, an hourly rate of $125 seems high considering the average hourly rate for a clean-up in this area. Lastly, due to a language barrier, the worker ended up pulling established flowers as well as weeds. Now the company has offered to replace the flowers pulled, but I am still unhappy about the amount I paid for the work performed. The company offered a discount on the work to be done in the backyard but that doesn't really help when you feel like you've already overpaid. My advice if you use this company is to get everything in writing to avoid any miscommunications.

We always try to meet our clients needs and we work hard to achieve happy and returning clients, I am sorry that wasn't the case with you. We should have been more clear on what the job was and why it was quoted at that price and that would have given you a better option of possibly not approving our estimate as we give to all our clients. I take full blame for not requesting a walk through of the property to easily identify the work you expected from us. We will try to do better next time and I apologize we have lost you as a client because in our business we try to build relationships as we have been doing for the past 3 seasons. Thank you very much again and my apologies.

We hired them for a one time deep clean before we moved into our new home. The 2 men that arrived did not speak english which made giving instruction more difficult. There were other contractors there that day so they worked unsupervised. They were there for 4 hours. The fridge still had mold from the previous owners. It took considerable time to clean the fridge after they left. There were cob webs left on the some of the light fixtures. Sinks were still dirty. There is more but I will stop there. We basically had to re do the work that they were paid for. When I called after the fact, I was greeted by excuses and a circular discussion that ignored the fact that the job was not done well. I would not recommend this company.
