Project: Build a Garage
Multiple Projects: Bathrooms, Detached Garage, and Portico Bathrooms: We recently bought a house built in 1956 which still had two bathrooms mostly in its original condition barring toilets and sinks. Although in great shape for its age, it was time for a remodel. After much research, I inquired All Renovations for the work that I would need. After a few discussions and many questions, I hired them as all my questions/concerns were answered and we agreed in writing with a contract. The crew was impressive: talented, efficient, detailed and neat. Serious demo was required as the 50's building practice for tile involves about 3"€plus of concrete and lath behind the tiles (no concrete boards back then). The team got through most of it in one day. I could go on forever about the details but here is what makes them special to me: 1. Good, polite and patient customer service that address all details and include them in a contract. 2. Skilled crew that is capable to blend current construction practice with those from 60 years ago, for example matching the thickness of old plaster/steel lath walls with current drywall, Durock and tile. 3. Attention to detail with all work done including how the wall and floor tiles were laid and finishing trim to match the original 50's trim. 4. Relationships with other professionals for referrals such as tile & flooring, cabinetry, and glass. 5. Capable to suit customization and flexible to let me finish where I desire. 6. Neatness. Let's face it, demo/construction renovations are messy but they did a good clean up when all done. I already have contracted All Reno for more jobs and I confidently refer them anyone. Build 2-Car Detached Garage & Entrance Portico: In addition to renovating our two bathrooms, we also contracted All Renovations to build a portico addition at the front of our house and a two-car detached garage at the rear of the house. We could not be happier with the results. As the name of the company suggests, they do all kinds of renovations. However, this does not mean a single team of guys do all the various construction projects. Instead, All Renovations provided different teams of skilled specialists. There was a team that prepared the sites, dug and poured the footers, and built the foundation. There was a carpentry team that did the framing, set the engineered trusses, and finishing. There was a roofing team, a siding team, a gutter and flashing team, a garage door installer, and a concrete team that framed and poured the garage floor. There also were two foremen who coordinated and oversaw the project, trades and inspections. The benefit of having of all these teams is the overall high level of quality to all aspects of the job. The portico that was added to the 60-year-old house looks like it was original to the house. The architectural details of the portico match the house as does the profile and color of the siding, flashing, and the roof shingles as it was tied in to the existing entrance gable. These same architectural features were also included into the new detached garage resulting in one that truly compliments and “fits” with the original house. The fact that the All Renovations teams have the skill and desire to apply their talent is special. I have been an accomplished “DIY’er” for more than 20 years but I am in awe of the work they have done. I recognize and fully appreciate the skills of these specialist. I feel fortunate that I chose All Renovations for my projects and I’m certain that anyone choosing All Renovations will have similar results.
Response by All Renovations, Inc.: Thanks for the opportunity to work with you and we hope to see you again for future projects!

Overall very good experience before and during an extensive bathroom remodel. Rocky and his guys are great, easy to work with and clean. Make sure during contracting process that you write everything including little things that you may assume in the contract. If you don't, your costs will go up substantially with little ability to negotiate.

Project: Build a Garage
My experience with All Renovations was fantastic! Omar and Jim were always eager to answer any questions I had and kept me informed throughout the whole project. Their pricing was very fair (even when I added work onto the project along the way). The workers were always on time and very courteous. The work is beautiful and I will recommend them to any and all of my friends.

We hired All Renovations to finsh our basement. We are 100% satisfied with our experience with All Renovations! Omar arrived early for our appointment for an estimate. He provided a detailed proposal soon after our meeting. Omar responded quickly to any questions we had about the proposal, and remained involved until completion of the project. Edwin, our foreman, was wonderful to work with; he communicated with us regularly during our basement project. Edwin and Ferdys worked diligently and the quality of their work was excellent! The job was completed in less time than originally estimated. We will hire All Renovations again for other projects in our home, and will be happy to recommend All Renovations to family and friends.
Response by All Renovations, Inc.: Thank you very much for your business. We eagerly await your future projects.

Project involved complete remodel of master bath with new tub, cabinets, sink, lighting flooring and tile along with repairing wall tile, replacing the flooring, changing the lighting and painting the hall recommended suppliers were fantastic and the tile work is superb. We ran into some issues with the existing tiles in the hall bath and Mir resolved them to our satisfaction. The project took slightly longer than planned but we are very happy with the results.

They were conscientious, hardworking professionals who cared about the quality of their work and the care of our house. The pathway in and out of the house was carefully protected and the work site was thoroughly cleaned every night. We found them both really nice, trustworthy, and polite. They listened respectfully to our questions providing explanations and suggestions. For example, Edwin suggested that they could make their own custom shower niches better (and bigger) than ones we could buy. He was right. Our two niches add a very nice design element and worthwhile feature. Their suggestions are helpful and the quality of their work is excellent. Overall, we are very pleased with the outcome and would hire the again. Be sure to ask Omar (boss) for crew with Edwin and Ferdys.
Response by All Renovations, Inc.: We kindly thank you very much for your business.

All Renovations have been used by a couple of people in our neighborhood and everyone had good things to say about them. Apparently there are a couple contractors that work for All Renovations. We had Edwin (Foreman) and Ferdis and they were awesome! They were both really nice, trustworthy, polite, professional, punctual, skilled and tidy. The team did a great job on the work and the level of the finishing. Bathroom: In the bathroom we had a complete remodel: new tub, new vanity, lights, toilet and tiles. The team did a really high quality job and made sure that they talked to me about anything that I may have not considered or any design decisions. I am not great with design so I appreciated asking Edwin and Ferdis for their opinions. The end result is fantastic and I was really happy with it. Their tile work is very good -- all the tiles were precisely cut and laid. Kitchen/Dining room: We didn't want to put in new cabinets in our kitchen to help keep costs down, but we wanted new flooring. They were able to remove the old flooring and cut it right up to the old cabinets, which meant that the new tiles were at the level of the old flooring so it looked seamless. They did an excellent job with the tiling. They also installed a new oven and microwave with an external vent, which we didn't previously have. All of it worked perfectly and looks really good. On our kitchen ceiling there was a corner that needed patching. They cut out a couple of old tiles and then used drywall to patch the area. They cut groves in to the drywall/mud to make the new patch match the rest of the ceiling pattern and I can't even see the difference between the old and the new areas. They also did a great job at patching a piece of my hall hardwood and put in new wood and matched it with the old wood so you can't see the difference. In the dining room we had our old ceiling replaced and some new spot lights put in. I have an old house so as they started removing the ceiling it exposed some old house problems like uneven joists that needed to be straightened for the new ceiling to be level and some old joists that needed reinforcing with new joists. It was stressful to discover these things as they were unexpected, but I was always shown the issue and we talked through different options (what happens if we leave it, various levels of fixing it etc.). General: The guys cleaned up at the end of each day. The first thing they did in the dining room was lay down cardboard to protect the existing floor. They laid down fresh cardboard for us to walk across in the evenings as well. When they were doing the bathroom, which was upstairs, they laid down plastic covering on the stairs and hallways to the bathroom. During demolition periods they put up plastic sheets to help contain the dust. We were away for a week over the work and the guys looked after my house respectfully and I had no problems when I came back. I will definitely use these guys in the future.

The biggest problem I had with this company was lack of customer service and no shows. Customer service is extremely important to me. I had to call workers back a few times to repair/follow up on things left undone. I spoke to Mir (Project Manager) about worker no shows and they eventually did BUT when I discuss problems with contractor work the very least the Project Manager could do is come out to SEE what I'm talking about, not necessarily DO anything about it right then and there. I have never met Mir. My Mom and sister did and liked his approach and attention to what we needed so we selected this company. I still haven't received a call or email from him to see if everything is finally okay. When you have workers come back two or more times I feel that this is the right thing for a Project Manager to do.
Response by All Renovations, Inc.: Customer satisfaction is our number one priority at All Renovations as indicated by our vast amount of other reviews. I have never met Lisa and I was primarily dealing with her sister and mother. I'm not sure what she means about the no shows since we started and ended the job in consecutive days. We were diligent in answering her calls immediately as I was available to discuss anything she had questions about. After the job was completed the client asked about some minor things that needed attention and we IMMEDIATELY placed her into our foreman's queue. We apologize if it couldn't be fixed immediately as we had other clients in queue.
