For the past several years, my wife and I diligently saved to remodel our home, and after being taking advantage of by an untrustworthy electrician during the initial phase of our remodeling project, we were reluctant to proceed with renovations. I made many inquires with friends and family about trustworthy contractor referrals. My wife and I interviewed five different contractors prior to contacting SMS Enterprises. We knew what we wanted aesthetically, but throughout the process of interviewing contractors we questioned their ability to carry out our vision. HomeAdvisor was our last resort and prior to contacting SMS enterprises, we were on the verge of scrapping the entire project. My wife and I read the reviews on Home Advisor about SMS Enterprises and decided to contact the company. Ms. Skillern, the company's owner answered the phone and she immediately scheduled a time to meet with my wife and I to discuss our project. Ms. Skillern arrived at our home on time for the first meeting and every subsequent meeting thereafter. She understood my wife’s vision for the home remodel and provided valuable feedback, as well as offered helpful suggestions when selecting materials for the renovation. Most importantly, Ms. Skillern helped us to clarify our vision. After several meetings to discuss our renovation plan, we signed the contract. We wanted the project completed in four weeks, so that we could be settled in our home for Thanksgiving. Ms. Skillern met the deadline nearly a week ahead of schedule and just in time for my wife and I to sort out the decorating of the interior of our home for arriving family and friends. Ms. Skillern and her team were a dream to work with. Each tradesperson was extremely professional and very skillful. At the end of each day of construction the SMS Enterprises Team left the construction area spic and span. They took extra care to protect the personal belongings that we were unable to move out of our home during the renovation project. Communication with Ms. Skillern was easy, as she was always accessible. Additionally, Ms. Skillern's attention to detail along with her team of employees degree of professionalism is unmatched! We were able to realize our dream of renovating our home, and SMS Enterprises very much exceeded our expectations. Huge thanks to Ms. Skillern and the team of professionals at SMS Enterprises! SMS did an outstanding job with the custom built in cabinets they did for my house! The house had two "cubby holes" so we wanted something built in that looked like it came with the house. SMS provided a great price and great work along with it. Great customer service as well. Would recommend to others.

I have just completed a project with SMS and the amount of communication throughout the project to get my home ready to put on the market to sell was great. SMS advised (due to years of expeeience) on what was the best use for our money and wasn't advising to spend where unneccessary, knowing we were selling not staying. There were some things SMS went beyond the proposal that wasn't charged beyond the agreed amount. They also accommodated a change without hesitation. We are pleased and use SMS again.

Project: Paint, Varnish or Stain Interior Surfaces
SMS did an outstanding job! Highly recommend to anyone who needs painting (interior or exterior) done. The owner is very pleasant to work with and very prompt with communication. The entire process is customer oriented, and she even threw in a few extras for free just to make sure we were happy! Her crew is prompt, polite, efficient, and extremely professional. After the painting job is complete you won't even know anyone was there working. Cannot recommend them highly enough. SMS also does carpentry work and professional cleaning, both of which we plan to use them for.

After a recent flood in my home, I was looking for a contractor to take over the work from another contractor that had totally screwed up my home. Not only did SMS Enterprises finish the job but fixed all the mess ups from the first contractor. I have never worked with a more professional, dependable, competent, friendly, hard working and trust worthy company in my life. They do excellent work and on a timely basis. I keep finding things I want them to take care of because they are so pleasant to work with. If you need ANY work done, I suggest you give these guys a call. They are the BEST!!!! I think I have found a friend and contractor for life. Thanks for everything!

B was out to go to person from start to finish. From bidding to check ins, questions, walk through and payment. Professional, prompt, informed, friendly, and knowledgeable. From the project quote to the finished project every aspect was on time and in budget. The works were professional, on time and did all cleanup. I would hire this company for more of my home projects and have.
