Comment: We're in an 800 square foot condo in a large 10 year old building (12 floors, appx 250 units), and recently have started hearing a lot of noise from our upstairs and next door neighbors. Not talking, but walking, knocking around (doors/cabinets opening/closing, chairs moving, etc), and especially the bass from music playing. There is some street noise, that might warrant a look at the exterior windows, but that's less of an issue (we're on the 6th floor in a busy area). We've been here four years, and it seems to have increased steadily over the last year (not related to any specific neighbor). Most interested in decreasing sound transfer from one neighboring wall, and our ceiling.
