Comment: We live on top of the hill above the Zoo. Our basement is normally dry but when we get excessive rain or after the spring thaw we get water seeping through the walls and coming up from the floor in the basement. We need to have water diverted away from the foundation or possibly a sump pump installed. I do not think waterproofing the basement would be the most cost effective means of relieving the problem.
