I'm from Texas and I've broken my front window. My house have double panel windows. I called Home depot, and a contractor came out and tried to charge me $780.90 to fix it! I called another company and they said $1000.00??? This went on for over a year. I recently installed this app after seeing it online. I didn't think that it would work. The first company that I encountered was Hurricane Glass INC here in Houston Texas. They were nice and professional. Two guys came out and measured the glass, and gave a price that was WAY CHEAPER than anyone else! The next week they replaced my window in less than 30 mins. Very neat and professional. I will now have Hurricane Glass Inc on my speed dial. And this app is excellent!

Looked at a few categories/companies and immediately started getting bombarded with sales calls from Home Advisor AND every contractor I looked at. No notice that my info was being sent to everyone. Will delete and never use again!!!

This app makes it super easy to find a trusted service provider to find a solution to any home problem. Only wish would be to have the app schedule a call first before forcing an appointment.

WHAT A MISTAKE BY Downloading app, Buyers BEWARE, HOME ADVISER IS A DATA MINING APP 2START. I downloaded app b4 reading online reviews, I just had a thought of some home improvements, so I opened app n went thru a few pages, don't like giving out all my person info so I used a fake address, w fake email, I DID NOT PUT IN MY PHONE NUMBER BECAUSE I WILL CALL ANY LOCAL CONTRACTORS WHEN I'M READY. WITHIN 15MINS I WAS BEING TX FR 800 Hanson saying they will call me. I don't accept calls after 9pm cause I get up early, they called after 10pm. The next day my phone is being Flooded w calls fr companies that don't even do drain tiles. I DELETED THE APP, WROTE ON FB BOUT THE PUSHIES CALLS WHO I DON'T ANSWER, PLUS I'VE BLOCKED AT LEAST 10 NUMBERS IN 3 DAYS. Their reply is a Canned reply so pay no attention 2 it. I'm calling BBB on Tues n file complaint. Beware ur info is being sold 2 every1, Read All Reviews here and on fb.

Your pros aren't very professional. One guy never even showed up, not even a return phone call. Still waiting for an estimate from another, it's been a few days now since visiting the property. Won't be using your service again. Will be deleting app.

We're glad you enjoy our app! -HASupport I am an extremely capable individual when it comes to repairs and remodeling/renovation projects. HomeAdvisor has been an extremely valuable resource for me, because I tend to forget jobs that I do not initially deem important, but are 100% necessary when moving into a new home. (Ex. Blinds or window shades). HomeAdvisor makes it easy for me to find exactly the type and amount of help I need for jobs such as those. An essential resource to help me finish up my home, even if the app just simply points me in the right direction.

We're so glad to hear our app has been helpful for you, we appreciate the wonderful review! -HASupport Just wanted to try out the app and next thing I know my phone is ringing off the hook with sales calls, even though I didn't indicate I was ready to start any home projects. Then I phoned and asked them to delete my account since there is no way to do so in the app or on their website and was told they would put me on do-not-call and no-email status and that's all they can do, no way to just delete me completely from their user base. Sure wish I'd never signed up for this nonsense.

The next morning the took the $300 membership fee without my knowledge or approval. After that I've been going in circles with them for a refund that will take 3 weeks to get back. After they cancelled my account I still received leads but not one was for a service that i offered! Overall horrible experience, definitely would not suggest for a contractor
