Centre for Advanced Studies (CAS) was founded in 2006 to recruit professional academics from international research universities in order to raise the standards of research at the HSE.
From its modest beginnings as an initiative of the HSE’s International College of Economics and Finance (ICEF) with our partners from the London School of Economics as the driver, HSE now employs some 96 international tenure-track, post-doctoral and teaching-track fellows in 16 different faculties, 11 research labs and centers in Moscow and at the HSE campuses in St. Petersburg and Perm.
