Reviews of Washington Cabinet Installers
Washington, DC
They were prompt and efficient. The folks that install my counter top also stated they did an excellent job. I was very please with the results and "they were affordable"!
Washington, DC
Good company to work with. Was good at taking an estimate and following up immediately. Answered all my questions in the negotiations. Completed the work super quick. Cut an existing counter top, moved cabinets and installed a pantry. The finishing details could have used some work. They didn't clean up the dust or try to stop dust from going everywhere and not so great patching up old holes.

Washington DC Bathroom Cabinets
When planned properly, your bathroom's cabinetry system can be as efficient and convenient as it is good looking. However, there are so many bathrooms out there that are fitted with less than optimal cabinetry that many homeowners might think that poor storage in bathrooms is always the case. The fact is, better bathroom cabinetry can greatly improve the room's function, enhance the look of the area, and even make cleaning up easier; if you are thinking of upgrading your bathroom cabinets in Washington DC, there are a few things that you should take into account before you start the project!
Upgrading Bathroom Cabinets
Like many east coast cities, DC has its share of small, cramped bathroom spaces. Fortunately, by installing a well planned cabinet system, homeowners can often free up space! Before you begin, you need to take a good look at your existing bathroom cabinets and decide whether or not their placement should be changed. Often, having a professional with you even at this early stage of the process can help you decide if you already have the best storage system for the space or if some rearranging could be advantageous.
Once you figure out whether or not your existing layout is working, it's time to begin picking out the appearance, finish, and style of cabinet you want. If you existing layout is working just fine, you might opt to simply replace the hardware and upgrade the exposed surfaces of your cabinets; by leaving the existing structure in place, you can save plenty, but have a look that is completely new. Obviously, there plenty of situations where the cabinets must be replaced completely; this is definitely more expensive than simply enhancing the exposed faces of your cabinets, but it also allows you to be far more flexible when it comes to design and appearance!
Buying Custom
If nothing but the very best will do, you might consider hiring a custom builder to create the cabinetry system for your bathroom. In Washington DC, bathroom cabinet builders might charge a little more than it would cost to pick up some stock cabinetry at your local home improvement center, but for that extra cost, you will receive a cabinetry system that is built to the exact specifications of your bathroom and looks exactly the way you want it to look. Prices on custom work can vary dramatically from contractor to contractor, so make sure that you look at each potential cabinet maker's estimate as well as his or her portfolio!
It is difficult to put a price on the average cost of upgrading a bathroom cabinet. Washington DC homeowners who are fine with their bathroom's layout and function, but who are unhappy with the appearance of their cabinetry might be able to replace all the hardware and resurface their cabinets for well under $1000. On the other hand, a homeowner who wants a builder to create custom cabinetry that fits his or her bathroom like a glove can end up spending several thousands of dollars on even a small space! Your best bet for getting a god price on quality work is to talk to and get estimates from multiple contractors. If you've got a good idea of what you'd like your bathroom cabinetry to become, talking to several different companies will give you a better feel for how much the high and low end costs for your project will be, and will also give you a chance to find a contractor who you communicate with well!
