Since 1972 we have been providing professional lightning protection and lightning rod installation to homeowners, farmers and business owners all over the Eastern United States. I shopped for lightning protection for years in Jacksonville, calling yellow pages ads to no avail. One guy even talked me OUT of installing lightning rods, even though he was listed in the Yellow Pages under lightning protection. Then my house was struck the next year, blowing a hole through the roof!!! I was so mad! Thankfully I found Lightning Defense through HomeAdvisor, and he is a pro. Very responsive, knowledgeable, and great service! Thanks HomeAdvisor and Lightning Defense. Very happy with everything. Just wish I used you earlier instead of the yellow pages.

This service provider is one of the VERY BEST contractors I have ever engaged anywhere, anytime. Mr. John Sherlock bent over backwards to meet my changed [forward] roofing project. He was contacted late in the day and the next day was here to take down my lightning arrestor system to enable the roofing job to begin. After the roofing was finished, he was out the next morning to reinstall the lightning protection system before a strong storm system moved in. He is a TRUE professional with more than 40 years in the business. He has a long-term outstanding reputation for great service and professional work -- and he sure lived up to it in his work for us. Thanks for a GREAT job!! Larry M.

I had lightning rods installed. Mr. Sherlock was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone interested in Lightning Protection for their home. Very neat and left no mess.
