Comment: CONDUCTORS & WIRING: 7.6 Evidence of an overheated branch feeder wire attached to 30 amp within panel interior was present. Bare from melted insulation noted. Wiring was tight at terminal screw connection during inspection. Repair or improvement is recommended. SWITCHES & OUTLETS: 7.7 CONDITION: Open ground connections were observed at various three-hole electrical outlets. Recommend having a qualified electrician evaluate and either establish a proper grounding conductor at the outlets or replace them with 2-pronged outlets or install working GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) devices protecting the outlets. The sun room floor mounted electrical outlet was not rated for use in the floor. This outlet may be easily damaged by traffic or furniture. Installation of properly rated outlet is recommended for durability and to ensure safety. Add 1 exterior outlet noted. Improvements and/or repairs recommended.
