Comment: I have an investment property in Carlton, OR that I would like for you to come out and give me a free quote on what you think I should do to retrofit this home. It is built in 1927 on flat land and has a full unfinished basement and above has two stories. I used to live in the SF Bay Area and did a tie down on my simple 1940s rancher. The existence of the basement and the age of the house, combined with the reality of a Juan de Fuca 4 min eruption gives me pause.
