Comment: 2.5 ton Central AC unit suddenly stopped working yesterday May 29, thermostat also stopped working. Checked outside circuit breaker box, no detectable problem. Only service on unit past year was this past year was last Tuesday by a service technician of a condenser noise problem that was about 80dAB and he added 9 oz of refrigerant. He concluded the noise concern was no worse than that he heard on other units he had serviced.
