Clint is a great professional. He does charge Trip Fee: $ 65 per trip contrary to what shows on homeadvisor, needs to fix that on the site, so customers know.

Let me start by further clarifying some information about our company that you stated in your review, we do charge a trip charge as stated on our profile page. This charge for Clint to bring our mobile locksmith shop to your location is $75. We do offer a sliding scale for customers who are closer to our location. This is why you were charged a $65 trip charge. For customers who are in our neighborhood, we offer a further reduction. Why do we do this? Well less miles to travel to you saves us money and we like to pass the savings on to our customers! Clint decided to go with a sliding scale on our trip charge to help ensure he always offers our customers the best price possible. When you call and speak with Clint, he will always ask two questions 1. your location and 2. the services you are in need. Once you answer the two question, he gives you a quote over the phone before he schedules your job so there are no surprises once he gets to your location, finishes the work discussed and you get our invoice. Because of our sliding trip charge scale, we do not list an exact trip charge price on our Home Advisor profile page. I apologize if you felt mislead by a previous customer's review where she stated she was charged a $50 service fee, her location fell into our neighborhood area. This was the only location I could find on our profile page that made any mention to the cost of our trip charge. Again, thank you for bringing this matter up for clarification so our future customers will know and not feel mislead. We appreciate you choosing Clint's Lock and Key and are glad that you were pleased with Clint's professionalism, quality of work and customer service. It was an emergency service because my car door locked with my child inside and I was hysterical! Clint and his wife were so reassuring and were able to calm me down. They got there right away and opened the car within seconds! They were so compassionate, understanding, and efficient. Very helpful!
