Comment: I have not been able to bring the temperature to 75 degrees during this hot weather and the service man said my unit was working great. He believes the problem is that we only have about 1 inch of insulation in our attic. I'm not certain whether the insulation should be blown in, laid down or some other type be better. My home is about 1600 sq. ft. and was built in 1962. No insulation has been added since then.
