Comment: The property is a 1929 semi-attached house in NW DC. The basement is partly above ground (has small above-ground windows) with brick walls and some kind of concrete floor. One corner of the basement brick wall has white deposits that look like water-mineral deposits, and once when I watered some outside bushes near this corner, water actually pooled up inside the basement in that corner. I think there is some long-standing issue with minor water cracks/leaks in that corner of the basement. I am looking for a good fix/solution as we get the house ready for sale in a year or two.
