Project: Hire a Handyman
So bad. Not only they managed to scratch and leave fingerprints all over my freshly painted walls and dent my kitchen appliances but they also refused to do anything about it. Then they wanted me to finish my project for them (that I paid them to do). Finally they didn't even bother cleaning up after themselves so I couldn't see what a horrible job they did.

Project: Hire a Handyman
They did nice work, cleaned up after themselves. They finished when they said. They needed to replace water damaged floorboards and tile and shower tiles too. A asked for a new vanity and lightning. I'm happy with the work.

The owner was very knowledgeable and skilled. He and his workers were courteous and professional. They took care to keep things as clean as possible.

When he arrived he just walked into my home without knocking. In spit of claiming to offer a free estimate, when he arrived he stated it would cost $65 just to look into the crawlspace for the estimate. We agreed on a price and he stated he would do the job immediately. Shortly after he started he tried to jack up the price. The he tried to do this an additional four times before he was done. He again walked into the house without knocking looking for a check. He left shortly thereafter without telling me he was done. When I went to look at the crawlspace the one main item I wanted removed was still sitting in the crawlspace!!!! I called to inform him that he had not completed what we had agreed on and only got voicemail. I would not recommend this guy to anyone!!!! I had additional work that I would have hired him for had he done a good job. Well I will never hire him again!!!!!!!
Response by One Man Job Done: I never walked to his house I called him from my truck then he walked out side to show me his tiny crawl space entrance it was full of junk we agree to have it remover we had to crawl on our bellies in order to remove havvy stuff the crawl space was full of dirt and dead rats all over it was miserable job but we did it the junk was removed and loaded to my truck he looked with his flush light and asked me to remove his connected Air conditioner pipes I answered sir I cant remove that part he got really mad but paid me couple handers dollars it was not even worth my helper and dumpster fee this is just one of customers who believe their problems should be mine

Project: Hire a Handyman
He came 1 1/2 hours late to install a locking mailbox. I had to try to reach him to find out where he was and got his canned message. I chose a mailbox with extra decorative sides that had to be screwed to the pole.He wanted $100 more than his quoted estimate. I told him it was unethical to raise the price so after my refusal he backed down to the original which was $200 for for an hour's work. The installation looks fine but I did not appreciate his attempt to jack up the price.
