  2. Anders Feder (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I'm trying to improve sourcing in Islam- and Middle East-related articles, and frequently come across Taylor & Francis sources (particularly Routledge ones) that would be of great help, but which I haven't previously been able to access. I've previously done basic copy-editing and source checking on Twelver, Ismah, Shia Islam and others.--Anders Feder (talk) 21:38, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
@Anders Feder: Here are the journals included in the Arts & Humanities collection; can you confirm that these will be useful to you? Nikkimaria (talk) 12:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

I also dabble in aspects of British history. I've invariably had to turn to WP:RX or off-wiki requests for info from this source and can only stretch goodwill so far, so tend to limit my requests. - Sitush (talk) 22:29, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
@Sitush: Here are the journals included in the Arts & Humanities collection; can you confirm that these will be useful to you? Nikkimaria (talk) 12:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Social History is one I have requested a few times. FICH and the Sikh studies one also stand out. It's not as useful to me as JSTOR, to which I am already signed up, but there are journals in that list which appear quite frequently as refs in other sources etc. - Sitush (talk) 12:43, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Actually, since I've just realised that there are only 30 accounts available, I'll withdraw this. I'm sure that other people have greater need/I can try to make do with WP:RX for a while yet. - Sitush (talk) 04:36, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

  26. LaMona (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) This would help greatly with AfD and AfC questions about authors, artists, and humanities academics. I work mainly on BLPs and other person-related pages, and there is little material online for anyone not working in digital media. I can't match the >10K edits of some others here, but I attempt to do diligent research (I am a librarian). Most poorly written articles exhibit a lack of resources at least as much of a lack of notability. It's heartbreaking to see a potentially notable article come up at AfD and none of us has access to prove otherwise. I would mainly make use of the arts and humanities, and hope very much that T&F eventually give us access to information science, which I really need. LaMona (talk) 15:54, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know, I will keeping asking for the necessary articles in the Resource Request for the time being then (not very lucky lately though...).--Rowanwindwhistler (talk) 06:37, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences[edit]

  1. Sasata (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Would be great to have access to the Biological, Environmental & Earth Sciences collection–they have several journals related to my areas of interest here. See userpage for content creation work. Sasata (talk) 00:33, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
@Sasata: Approved Expect an email shortly with further details. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:20, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
  2. Cwmhiraeth (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I create and expand articles on biological topics and access to T&F's Biological, Environmental & Earth Sciences journals would be most useful (I have really appreciated having jstor access). Cwmhiraeth (talk) 05:09, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
@Cwmhiraeth: Approved Expect an email shortly with further details. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:20, 14 July 2015 (UTC)
  3. Jacek555 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I work on biology (zoology) topics at pl:wiki for more than 8 years, mainly with articles about rodents. Among them there are some FA: Koszatniczka pospolita (O. degus), Świstak tatrzański (Marmota marmota), Bóbr europejski (beaver), Chomik europejski (european hamster), but also Diugoń przybrzeżny (Dugong Dugon), and many GA. During my work sometimes I need articles published by Taylor&Francis, but I do not already have access to Taylor & Francis resources through another library or institution. 4. Fenix down (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Would appreciate access to the Earth Sciences collection. I have created a large number of articles in the human geography space, particularly on arctic Russia. Access would be extremely useful, particularly to have access to Polar Geography, a key journal in this area. Fenix down (talk) 07:46, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
nikkimaria - Is it possible to have access to both collections? looking at the humanities listings you have posted, I think that at least to of the journals on the A&H listing would also be very useful, specifically Russian Studies in History and Revolutionary Russia? Appreciate there may be a need to share out the accounts, so would prefer access to the Earth Sciences collection where I assume Polar Geography is found if this is not possible. Fenix down (talk) 15:22, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Fenix down You can apply for both, but given the level of demand you probably won't receive both unless the partnership is expanded - we'll prioritize what you indicate is your preferred collection. Nikkimaria (talk) 15:27, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
Nikkimaria, thanks for the response. Are you able to share the Earth Scinces listing, please? Fenix down (talk) 15:29, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
See the talk page - I don't have it at the moment but I've asked. We're also clarifying the distribution process and requests for both vs one collection with T&F. Nikkimaria (talk) 15:33, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

  5. Kopiersperre (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I write articles about pesticides and other chemical topics at dewiki (16000 edits there). I'm not affiliated with any university, which could give me access. I'm particularly interested in the CRC books.--Kopiersperre (talk) 11:30, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

  6. Achim Raschka (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I am active in the area of biology in the german wikipedia since more than 11 years now and wrote a lot of featured and good articles mainly on zoology, anatomy and biographies but also a huge base in the area of natural sciences and other areas. My editcount is more than 90.000 edits in der German Wikipedia by now with ~50% on articles. Therefore I am very interested to get access to the Biological, Environmental & Earth Sciences collection. -- Achim Raschka (talk) 11:44, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

  7. WeijiBaikeBianji (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I edit high-page view articles and recently was a co-winner in the 2015 Core Contest for revisions to English language that brought that article to good article status. I especially like to edit articles on psychology. I share citations to sources that are reliable sources by Wikipedia guidelines with other editors in online bibliographies in my user space, for example the Intelligence citations bibliography and the Anthropology and human biology citations bibliography. It looks like the Taylor and Francis Biological, Environmental & Earth Sciences collection is the better fit for my research interests among the two subject collections currently on offer to Wikipedians. The Taylor and Francis Social Science and Humanities collection would be an ideal fit if it later becomes available. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 16:21, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

  9. ceyockey (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) My primary focuses in Wikipedia are a) combating link rot, b) providing some online resource availability for those citations which lack any linkage to internet resources, c) enhancing company information (via WikiProject Companies) and d) enhancing general scientific content based on recently published materials, particularly in the biological sciences. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 05:02, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
@Ceyockey: Here are the journals available in this collection - can you confirm they will be useful to you? Nikkimaria (talk) 16:17, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
@Nikkimaria: I took a look at the list. I'm familiar with the topics covered, but seldom edit in those areas. However, given access, I'll make a point of using it to enhance or create some articles. So, it won't go to waste. It's just a matter of topic emphasis for my editing. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 18:03, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

  10. Apokryltaros (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) I have been written numerous articles and made hundreds of thousands of edits since 2005. I focus primarily on prehistoric and extinct organisms, as well as some mythology, plant, fish and animal articles. I often search for scientific papers to help with my reconstructions of prehistoric organisms, and getting free access to Taylor and Francis articles will make my search and reconstructions so much easier.--Mr Fink (talk) 16:17, 19 June 2015 (UTC)

  11. Keri (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Big user of The Wikipedia Library's partners, as my contribs will demonstrate. Also a member of WikiProject Environment. The Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences collection will be the most useful to me in creating, expanding and RSing articles, but I'm also interested in a specific T&F journal, International Review of Law, Computers & Technology - so if that falls under the other collection I'll be looking to collaborate with someone on the other list above :) Keri (talk) 22:54, 20 June 2015 (UTC)
@Keri: unfortunately the specific journal you mention is on neither list. Nikkimaria (talk) 16:17, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
Ah well, not to worry, I'll get hold of it eventually :) The Bio/Env/Earth collection will probably keep me so busy that I'll forget why I wanted that law review in the first place ;) Keri (talk) 16:42, 24 June 2015 (UTC)

Yet to specify / Other[edit]

  1. Buckshot06 (talk · contribs · central auth · count · email) Member since 2006. I work heavily on military and international affairs subjects, and would thus greatly benefit from the Politics and International Relations collection. Previous work on the Russian military (such as previously getting Russian Ground Forces to Featured Article status), also DR Congo, Sierra Leone, etc benefited greatly from T&F journals, when I had previous access through work. It would be a great benefit to have such access assured.
@Buckshot06: We unfortunately don't have access to the Politics and IR collection at this point - Arts & Humanities or Biological, Environmental and Earth Sciences are the choices. Nikkimaria (talk) 14:30, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

I read over the A&H list and it does not include the History, Politics, International Relations etc material I need. There are some useful journals there but others can make much better use of what is included than I can. I will wait until if/when the program is expanded to more useful collections.
