Need to have:
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in building WordPress CMS websites.
Extensive knowledge of customising WordPress dashboards and plugins.
Experience with creating custom plugins from scratch.
Extensive knowledge of WooCommerce and experience using WordPress as an e-commerce CMS.
Extensive knowledge and experience in PHP and MySQL.
Knowledge of WordPress SEO plugins and best practices for SEO.
Experience with Server management and site deployment.
Good to have:
Good HTML/CSS/JS skills
Experience with frameworks like CakePHP/CodeIgniter
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Basic working knowledge of Git (revision control) or Subversion
Knowledge of Building and Automation Tools such as Grunt, Gulp, etc
Experience with Sass (CSS prerprocessor).

Key Responsibilities:
Build digital platforms including marketing sites, web applications, eCommerce sites and digital products on WordPress.
Work with WordPress plugins, shortcodes, function and the loop. Use popular WP plugins and WordPress API and customize plugin code, as required.
Ability to understand business / design goals and translate them into well-documented, clean code.
Writing SEO friendly and performance optimized code. Work closely with the Front-End Developer to build the finished product.
