WP Digital Signature Plugin vs. Form Generation Plugins
Form generation plugins are fantastic! You can create some really sweet automation integrations; However, signing a legally binding document is NOT their main focus (it is our SOLE focus). Contrary to popular belief simply adding a signature add-on to a Wordpress form plugin does not make an agreement legally binding. We have spent years developing a platform that adheres to the strict UETA and ESIGN national and international document signing guidelines. Do the smart thing and don’t get caught in a courtroom with a document that isn’t legally binding.
Will I need to renew my license?
Yes you will. Each license key is valid for one calendar year from the purchase date. An active license key is needed for access to automatic updates and plugin support. Your license however, can be renewed each year at a discounted rate (up to 50% off) of the current price. Though your plugin should still work we are actively adding security improvements and feature enhancements to WP E-Signature, so it's reccocmened to have the latest version at all times.
Will I get updates for WP Electronic Signature Plugin?
Yes. In-dashboard updates are delivered to all ApproveMe WP E-Signature Plugin users that have a valid license key.
Will Wordpress E-Signature Plugin work on WordPress.com hosted sites?
No. The WordPress.com hosted platform is closed and you are not allowed to install additional plugins so you would be unable to install WP Digital E-Signature Plugin. Our WP eSignature plugin only works on self-hosted WordPress installations.
Where Can I Find My License Key?
If you’ve already purchased a license key and need to retrieve the license number, you can do that on the support site here. Once you’ve successfully logged into the support site (using the credentials emailed to you at the time of purchase), your active license key(s) will be listed at the bottom of the page.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes, we offer refunds for the first 30 days following your WP E-Signature plugin purchase. You can find more information about the refund policy here
Can I purchase a Individual license & upgrade later?
Sure. You can buy a individual license and if you love our WP Digital Signature Plugin (we know you will..), then you’re welcome to upgrade to a Professional or Business license. You can upgrade directly from the plugin settings page. Coupon codes or other promotional discounts do not apply to upgrades.
What do I get with my license?
Your professional license grants you access to all of our support resources, documentation, product downloads and basic add-ons for one calendar year from your purchase date. Business license holders will also have access to priority support resources and premium add-ons like PayPal, Stand Alone Documents, Document Templates, Unlimited Sender Roles and others along with access to any future add-ons that will be released.
How much does it cost to renew my license?
You can quickly and easily renew your license at up to 50% off the normal pricing within 60 days of your original license expiration date. The current Business License renewal is $98.50 USD, the Professional License renewal is $48.50 USD and the Individual License renewal is $27.50 USD. After the 60 day window has expired, all renewals are at full price. Coupon codes or other promotional discounts do not apply to renewals.
What do I get for renewing my license?
Renewing your license provides an additional year of support, software updates, and when applicable access to our entire Advanced Add-On library. A valid license provides peace of mind knowing you can turn to us for WP Electronic Signature related support and assistance. You’ll also continue receiving software updates to ensure WordPress compatibility (and security) as well as great new features and critical security enhancements! Also (depending on your license) as we release new basic and premium add-ons you will be able download these at anytime.
Will my forms quit working if my license expires?
If your license expires, your documents will still work just fine unless something changes with the WordPress core itself. However, you will not have access to download the plugins or add-ons, won’t receive critical software updates and won’t be able to access new add-ons or the incredible support that we offer.
