Comment: The city came to repair the sidewalk (two 6' x18' areas in the front and one on the side of our home) so my father's wheelchair could get by and people could stop tripping. The removed the old sidwalk, graded it, compacted it. Then proceeded to pub hot asphalt in the areas. Of course we tried stopping them, but by then one area was filled. Makes no sense, does concrete belong on the road? No. Neither does asphalt belong on the sidewalk. City claims it's too expensive to repair, now we have a half-assed mess in the front and NO sidewalk on the side. We need both repaired.
