Last night I went to take some long exposures with @neohumanity who was visiting from LA. We talked about a lot of things and he showed me a few tips and tricks. This was with my Sony RX-1, a camera I hated because it felt so cold and heartless. A photo walk with @colerise changed that and since then it has become my go to camera. It is a nice counterpoint to a Leica M I have been using lately. I struggled with Long Exposures on the Leica. Anyway just a little experiment. I will put these up in full glory on my blog later. Sometimes a blog post is not a blog post, it is a book. It was about in April 2014 @elleluna published this essay on the Internet. I was privileged that she asked me to read it before publishing and I was blown about by its emotional intensity and deep intelligence in helping us make right decisions. I have seen her turn this into a book which is now available in fine book stores and Amazon. I am incredible proud of Elle, because she remained true to herself and followed her own path. I spent my weekend reading this book and it is amazing that after having read it a few times during the writing process, it still blows me away.
