Some say predictable, true, but i have not watched a film in a long time that made cheer for team GB like i did at the 2012 Olympics. Great story about team work, and about really really pushing to achieve a dream. You'll be armchair-running to this one!
By loonylinney (55 reviews) , 09 May 2013I put off watching this for a long time - I thought it would be cliched, predictable and two dimensional. Yes, it was somewhat predictable, but it was multi-layered, with stories within stories. From the most privileged (with their problems) to the outsider, this looked deep into the lives of the runners, and their relationships. It has great music, fantastic photography, and my muscles didn't want to stay still when they were running. A great British feel-good film.- Was this review helpful to you?
