This is the first time that I have ever taken out this type of cover, thinking in the past that it is a waste of money.

However, having found SquareTrade on Amazon, I now feel quite differently and for my Samsung S2 500gb Portable Hard Drive I think that this is the most useful cover at an exceptionally competitive price.

I also like the fact that the cover is provided on a paperless basis which appeals to my 'green' side!

The communication I have had so far with SquareTrade by email has been superb and it was effortless to register my product by simply emailing a scanned copy of the receipt.

I would highly recommend this product to anyone wishing to cover a device such as mine.

Very good customer service, I have not had to make a claim yet, but I believe it will be an easy to understand process.

I have purchased this warranty just to be on the safe side. It was emailed to me the same day and its paper copy arrived by post the following day. I also received phone call week later making sure that I am happy with their product, which I thought was really nice and had personal touch. I highly recommend it.

I bought this warranty to cover any accidental damage to my new Sony Walkman MP3 player and, touch wood, I haven't needed to claim on it as yet.
The warranty was reasonably priced for three years of cover, as anything could go wrong with the Walkman before then, so it's given me peace of mind that, should the worst happen, I will be covered.

I have taken out this warranty to cover my purchase of a Kindle. It covers me for all eventualities and gives me peace of mind as I take my KindleKindle 3G Wireless Reading Device, Free 3G + Wi-Fi, 3G Works Globally, Graphite, 6" Display with New E Ink Pearl Technology everywhere. Would recommend that for the very small cost, everyone takes out this warranty.
Cheap price for peace of mind.

This is well worth the money, I bought a pair of headphones with this and if you know what headphones are like (break easily) then this is definitely recommended

I figured that a warranty is a must when buying my external hard-drive, given how much money I've spent on it and how much I would be using it. I chose this warranty because it was the most understandable one and seemed reliable.
Even though the product I got has a manufacturer's warranty already, I bought this one on top of that because it is against accidents - liquid ones to be precise. I do have that nasty habit of drinking coffee around my computer and I thought that protecting my new external hard-drive from possible coffee spills sounds like a good idea.
Lastly, the guarantee is 3 years long, which is roughly the life-span I'm daring to give to the product. I think 1 year is too short and more than 3 years is unreasonable, so I was happy with the three year option.
I liked that I got my receipts by email vs on paper, because paper get's lost easily. I would definably recommend this warranty.

It gives me peace of mind and hopefully will save me money in future in case of any problem with the new hard disc.

I purchased this with my Creative ZEN MX and I believe it's good value as 'extended warranties' go.

If it had been available a couple of years ago when i had my iPod, I would probably still have it.

Fingers crossed that i don't need to use it but it's peace of mind.
