If you return an item to us using a pre-paid, personalised return mailing label, we'll pay the cost of return delivery if your return is due to an Amazon.co.uk error.  Otherwise, we'll deduct the cost of return delivery from the amount of your refund, unless you are returning a defective item or eligible Shoes or Clothing.

Returns from a UK address

All references to the UK cover England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

To calculate the total amount that will be deducted from your refund, add the "per item" rate for each item you return to the highest "per package" rate applicable to the items in each package you send. If you return items in different packages, you'll be charged a separate "per package" rate for each package.

Returns from a non-UK address

If you want to return an item from an address outside the UK you should still use our Online Returns Centre to return any items purchased directly from Amazon.co.uk (or third party items that have been Fulfilled by Amazon.)

Please print the return label and include it in your return package. Please don't change the size of the return label when printing or our scanners may not be able to read it.

If you can't print the label, please include the payslip (the original or a copy) or a piece of paper with the name of the person who ordered the items, the order number and the reason for the return. The address to where the item is to be returned will be provided.

Please use the Amazon.co.uk cardboard box and the manufacturer's original packaging to return the item. If you don't have the Amazon.co.uk cardboard box, please include the name of the person who ordered the items and the order number in the sender field on the package.

Returns from Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Poland and the Republic of Ireland

You will have the option to use a pre-paid label or self-return the article:

• Pre-paid. Print the personalised label and take your parcel to your local post office. If the return isn't the result of an error on our part, return delivery costs will be deducted from your refund. The amount deducted from the refund will be GBP 7.00. If the return amount costs less than this amount, you will not be charged for the return.
• Self-return. Take the parcel to your local post office or other mailing service. You'll need to pay for return postage costs. If the return is the result of an error on our part, the return costs will be refunded to you.
