I am a huge flirt. I flirt ALL the time. I flirt with nearly everyone, INCLUDING my husband. But..he doesn't flirt back. Not usually anyway. It bothers me a bit. Last night at the bar I was really flirty. I was flirting with Movie Chris ™ and with Jimmy the Pimp ™ and of course The Sluts Bitch ™ (aka Karina) but when I tried to flirt with Husband version 5.11™ he just ignored me. It really bothers me that Husband version 5.11 ™ doesn't get in on the whole Ruthie "The Slut" ™ flirting. It makes me sad. I love my husband very much, but sometimes it just hits me how different we are. When I was flirting with everyone else, they would flirt back. But not Husband version 5.11™ - he just kinda looks at me like i'm crazy. That's no fun at all. What really gets me is when he would walk up to me and just fondle my boobs. Now THAT really bugs me.

1. Morning or night person? Morning. I would rather sleep in late than go to bed early.

2. Heavy or light sleeper? Both. It depends on how tired I am when I go to sleep.

3. Remember your dreams or not? I try to. I've posted a few on my blog here

4. Do you need a lot of sleep, or just a little? I can get by on little and function normally...for a little while. then I start going mad.

5. Do you need something like a nightlight or TV to sleep, or do you prefer
complete darkness? I would LIKE complete darkness, but we have a window in our bedroom that lets in quite a bit of light.

6. Flannel sheets or some other kind? The sheets we have now are T-shirt fabric. I like them..but they aren't quite as soft as I would like.

7. One pillow, or more? One. But until we got our new bed I had at LEAST two. Hubby complains I snore too much, so I am trying to get used to the one pillow.

8. Bedroom door opened or closed at night? Open. Kayce has run of the house.

9. Wrap yourself into blankets like a cocoon, or just cover yourself with them? If I am cold I cocoon. I've got a hubby to help keep me warm too.

10. Alarm clock: wake to music or buzzer? Buzzer. I would/do incorporate the music into my dreams. I never wake up when it's music.

1. Do you remember the first LP, 45, CD or CD single that you bought? Recreate the scene for me. When I was about..12..or 13...my grandparents sent me money for my birthday. My mom took me to the Metro North Mall and I got a tape. That tape was Metallicas "And Justice for All" My mother was NOT happy! She wanted me to tell my grandfather that I got something else with the money. I am not sure if I did or not.

2. What was the last CD or song that you actually paid money for?

3. What do you think is the best snack food ever? Red Baron Breakfast Pizza's. They are a big snack, but still. They are the BEST! The sausage gravy ones are the bestest of the best!

Comedian George Carlin once pointed we consider the things we like to keep around us to be our "stuff," whereas other people's stuff is just junk to us (ok, he used more colorful language, but you get the idea). What "stuff" do you have that someone else might just throw away if they were cleaning out your house? I've got LOTS and lots of that kind of stuff. Old papers, boxes of old school supplies. Such stuff like that.

5. Do you think it is wrong for people to rush to e-Bay and start selling Space Shuttle Columbia collectibles? Now..what's wrong with capitalizing on disaster?

1. Why do you blog? It's an obsession. I blog to share. See...I talk to myself all the time...and this is just an extension of that.

2. What do you blog about? Why? Everything that I want to. I've about 34 categoriesof things that I blog about. Anything that comes into my head I will blog about. I try to not blog about things that are extremely private though.

3. Who is your primary blogging audience? Why? I am my primary audience. But other than that it's mostly net people. Some of my friends read my blog, but none too frequently.

4. What is your blogging philosophy? Why? KISS. Keep is simple, sweetie. I try to blog like I talk - which is usually pretty simply. That is not to say that I a simple minded (dumb) just easy to understand. Well..wait..maybe I am not that easy to understand, but I KNOW what I meant! :)

5. Have you ever stopped blogging or considered ending your blog? Why? No and no. Even when bad things are doing down with me I've kept blogging. This is what keeps me going. Nothing has been so bad to make me stop doing what I love.

So I've been fiddling with the css style sheets. I had things linked funky - they are better now. I sill want to edit the individual entry page so that it looks better linked all on its own, but it's ok for now. At least I have all the style sheets linked correctly. I fixed the comments too - I had fucked them all up when I edited something else. Hate when that happens. But I've got them fixed now. I think I am going to change some of the pictures around on the archive pages - but I dunno. I like the ones that are there now, although the individual entry page is kinda risque. (see it here) But..I really like the picture. I also like the one of David in the bathtub (see it here). The other two are ok - so if I change any - it will prolly be those two.

1. As a child, who was your favorite superhero/heroine? Why? I didn't really have one. I wanted to be a ballet dancer or a post man.

2. What was one thing you always wanted as a child but never got? A sister. But I got one when I Kristen came into my life.

3. What's the furthest from home you've been? Tampa Fl. When I moved here I still considered Kansas City my home, and Tampa is 1200 miles from KC.

4. What's one thing you've always wanted to learn but haven't yet? To play the guitar.

5. What are your plans for the weekend? I'm gonna sit at home and hang out. Maybe read some more of Harry Potter - maybe some of Wuthering Heights. Prolly play online and listen to Flywheel while doing it. Oh yah..I need to do my case notes for work - so I can get mah money! :)

So..I am not going to get to see Flywheel play tonight like I was hoping to. They are playing again at the Mug on Thursday - I think I can hold out till then :) We've got like 7 bucks between us right now, so taking a drive 30 miles away isn't really in the cards. It sucks. But..it gives me more time to learn the songs so I can sing along :) Did I mention that Stephen sang to me? Yah..there is a line in "screaming" that goes "screaming in me, screaming in you." When he sang the line...screaming in you..he pointed at me. It was so COOL! :) I stole this picture from their website - hope their web desginer doens't mind. Next time I see them I am GOING to take my camera, and hopefully before they leave the area I will have a digital camera to snap pics with. :) They all look just a little bit different now, from that picture up there. Pat's hair is shorter and brown - which is the most noticeable difference.

Nathan has gotten W2's his from USF, but not from Muvico. I haven't gotten mine from my boss either. I hope we get them soon. H&R; Block has said we are pre-qualified for a same day anticipation loan. We got our taxes done with them last year - and got a 3 day loan then. I want that dang money, man! :) I've got plots and plans for it! :) We need to order the tickets home to KC for Lory's wedding soon. She asked me to do the programs the other day - that's pretty cool. Mom sent me a swatch of the fabic from the bridesmaid dresses - I want to at least coordinate :)

I have this letter I need to write. A friend and I had a falling out round September sometime. I need to email me and tell him everything about how I feel. It won't work trying to tell him in person - it just won't. That's not a crack about him, just that his personality is that he will get all excited and try talking before I am all the way done. And I've got the personality that will make me all pissed off. Ok..so I need to write this letter and it's gonna take a while.

I realize that I have crushes on some of the men in the bands that I like. But I also REALLY like their music. I would like their music even if they were all hideous monsters. My personality is obsessive, and I am a huge flirt, but I will continue to enjoy Flywheel's music, as well as River Chicken, even if I NEVER see them again. I go to the shows, I enjoy the shows. I hope to see them play again. I resent the implication that I am there JUST for the men. Can I not enjoy the music? Is it that I don't have a dick and balls so I can't be a fan - I have to be a fucking "groupie." It's a bunch of sexist bull shit! Yah..when I talk about them I mention how cute I think some of them are and I don't talk about the music. I like the music, but can't talk about the technical aspects of like all the boy fans can. I just know I like it. I enjoy the sound; I enjoy the rhythms; I like the death of the drums; I like the harmonies; I like the melodies. I am a fan of their music. I just HAPPEN to think they are cute. Give it a fucking rest already.

good lord. I thought he was hot BEFORE I saw him play! Now I couldn't BE more infatuated with him. Him being Pat from Flywheel What's with me and guitar players? He's just...good lord..can't even speak. He's awesome to watch on stage as well. Course he could be standing there doing mime and I would sill stare like it was going outta style. You would think I was 13 with the crush I've got going here. He sings back up, and he sounded great. For some reason he seems REALLY familiar to me, but maybe that's all in my head. I can't leave out the other hotties in the band Stephen (lead vocals) Jimmy (drums) and Sandy (bass) Like my friend Ivy says "those boys are so totally fuckable!" :) They are all such nice guys too, you can't help but like them. I wanna play them on a PS2 game though - I think THAT would be fun! :) Granted I suck at EVERY game I play on that thing, but STILL! :) Hee hee, I made them sign my photo in pink sharpie, and my cd too! Now, when they are famous, I will have all their autographs in pink sharpie! :) Good god - even the picture of them just makes me all...weird. good weird. There is just something about him that is QUITE compelling. I am SO gonna make sure last night wasn't the last time I ever see him. AAIIIIEEEE. On a totally less crushyness note - Flywheel ROCKS!! If you get the chance you should go see them live. They are playing all this weekend at Porterhouse in Palm Harbor, and they will be at the mug again on the 6th. Their website has more details. They gave me some flyers to hang up, and I've got stickers too! :) I hope I can get lots of people to come to their next show at the Mug. If you live in Tampa, fucking go! :) It will so be worth it. If nothing else, go to their website and check them out, you won't be sorry! They are a modern hard rock band with heavy melodies, guitar-driven energy and powerful vocals.

At one point there was some hulk hands; it was awesome. I am SO glad I was there. (I wish Flywheel would have still been there, but alas, they had to head to thier hotel. They have a show tonight, and tommrow, and the next day....)

at the VERY least I have developed two new crushes. Pat and Jimmy from Flywheel They are playing at the Mug tomorrow night and they were there tonight hanging out. Pat is insanely hot and Jimmy aint too shabby either. I didn't really talk to Sandy or Stephen that much, but Stephen has the MOST amazing blue eyes AND he's got a fabulous accent! :) I couldn't even really even talk to Pat cause he was so good looking. It was a good time and I am looking forward to seeing them play tomorrow..er..tonight. Plus, I should get to hang out with them some more too :)

oh yah..I sang the lesbian love song that Ray likes so much (Mouth by Merrill Bainbridge) and I got TONS of complements. The voice track is on the song, but Nathan said you could hear my voice distinctly and I was right on! GO me! :) It was my first time singing it, or any song, alone on Tuesday night. The guys from Flywheel were impressed as well as my buddies from River Chicken. It's a pretty cool to get a compliment about your singing ability from two amazing singers (Vern from River Chicken and Stephen from Flywheel)

im not in much of a posting mood today. didn't sleep well last night. went to bed round 4, got up round 11. was drunk (again) when I went to bed. I think I will go read some more of Harry Potter and maybe take a nap. We're heading to the bar tonight. Im all alcholoed out though. It will be a while before I get drunk again.

I got some new lipstick today. It's Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor in perennial plum. I ate 2 sandwhiches and its still on. It's one of those stay on lip sticks. I really like it. I like being able to leave kiss marks on people, but Nathan HATES that. It's a pretty color too.
